As our Graduate Market Risk Analyst, you’ll start the first 4 weeks of your training program, in our global HQ in Amsterdam, where you’ll learn the foundations of everything that you’ll need to know – the theory, the markets, the strategies and the technology. Then, you’ll travel to our APAC HQ in Sydney, where you’ll put your knowledge into practice with the local team. What you’ll do To keep us at the forefront of an ever-changing trading environment, you’ll create and improve our current risk framework and monitoring tools. You’ll analyse risk and market data to solve practical problems. In your day-to-day role, you’ll get to: Control market, credit and automated trading related risks in the Asia-Pacific region Maintain and improve market, credit, and automated trading risk management governance and control frameworks Advise on limits policies and methodologies, following up and enforcing solutions for limit violations Maintain, improve upon, and build risk reports and tools Prepare daily reports for the Prepare daily reports for the Singapore Risk Team Lead Provide risk opinions and views to Trading and Management Contribute daily to ensure that the Risk Management team stays up to date with new developments in the risk arena Check out Andrew’s ‘Day in the Life’ feature to learn more. Who you are You have a keen interest in the financial markets, and a strong set of analytical and problem-solving skills.
