What we’re looking for Cross River’s Marketplace Lending team originates loans for leading marketplace lending platforms, providing funding and regulatory expertise. As a MPL Onboarding Analyst on the Marketplace Lending team, he/she will perform a variety of far ranging tasks, from coordinating site visits, to preparing presentations and analysis, to networking with clients. He/she should be able to understand and generate data and statistical analysis in support of creating and shaping strategic decisions, critical-path dashboards, and other business-related activities. Propose solutions to high-level and/or long-range challenges that require in-depth quantitative/qualitative analysis with non-routine solutions. Primary Responsibilities: Creating a detailed business analysis, outlining problems, opportunities and solutions for Marketplace Lending Budgeting and forecasting Planning and monitoring Financial modelling Reporting and Presentations Scheduling and note-taking Communicating via phone/email with clients Creating screening processes, template responses, and qualitative benchmarks for new partners Client-facing Education, Experience, Skills Required: Bachelor Degree in Business Admin, Economics, Finance, related field or demonstrated skillset in place of: 1+ years of industry experience preferred Working knowledge of analytics and statistical concepts Demonstrated ability to produce quantitative analysis Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint Strong organizational ability to manage concurrent projects in fast-paced environment Candidate should possess the following traits: Self Starter, Collaborative, Fast Learner, Entrepreneurial, Genuine, Organized Candidate should be interested and excited about working in multiple capacities alongside multiple teams Candidate should be comfortable interacting with C – level management across new startups and existing companies.
