What we’re looking for As the Bank continues to expand its pool of clients and services, the Operations Department must automate manual processes to ensure we can accommodate continued growth. The role of an Operations Architect is to continuously review the operations department infrastructure and work hand in hand with the Operations Teams and IT personnel to facilitate the automation of manual processes. The Operations Architect must be able to effectively communicate the technical requirements of operational needs to IT staff and oversee the automation projects. Responsibilities: • Analyze current operational processes to determine the potential for automation. Ensure the desired outcomes improve efficiency, effectiveness, and aligns with operational policies, procedures, and requirements.• Engage with Operational staff to get insight to prioritize which projects will have the most impact and reduce manual tasks.• Create detailed project plans to implement and monitor each project.• Ensure a complete understanding of all Operational IT tickets, issues, enhancements, and other related requested are being handled by IT in an efficient manner. • Work with Operations teams to ensure that they have the appropriate level of reports to meet the operational requirements. • Act as a trusted advisor to the COO. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related job experience.• 5+ years’ experience in an IT liaison, IT Manager, IT Data Administrator, or IT project implementation role within the banking industry.• Associated work within Operations or working closely with Operations staff. • In-depth knowledge of project implementation from both an IT and Operational perspective.• Strong project management skills.• Ability to work effectively while multi-tasking in a high-volume environment.• High attention to detail.• Exemplary organizational, analytical, and communication skills. #LI-AS1 Cross River is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
