What we’re looking for: The PMO Team handles all the planning, implementation, and tracking of a wide range of business projects that are cross-functional in nature. In addition, the Project Manager provides project tracking and status, tracks risks and associate issues, identifies constraints and potential workarounds, and is responsible for the overall success of the project, system, or process implementation. This role will have exposure across all business units and will work cross-functionally with teams to establish and execute on project timelines while working to deliver on time and within budget, where applicable. The proper candidate will bring experience and passion for project leadership, strategic alignment, comfort with processes, procedures, and project management methodologies. The right individual will be committed to the success of the Project Management Office and Cross River in meeting the outline goals. Duties & Responsibilities: Define the scope of the project in collaboration with the associated project sponsor(s) and engaged executives Gather and document requirements from key stakeholders Create a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities and dependencies needed to successfully complete the project Determine the resources (time, money, people, etc.) required to complete the project and work with business leaders to ensure the appropriate resources have been allocated to the effort Develop a project plan and associated timeline that effectively allocates the resources to the activities and milestones Execute the project according to the project plan Review the project schedule with the identified project team, functional area stakeholders and associated executive management that are involved or will be affected by the project activities; revision of the timeline and tasks to be done as required Track risks and issues associated with the effort while outline and tracking mitigation efforts and decisions Determine the objectives and measures upon which the project will be evaluated at its completion Set up folder structures and shared drives to ensure that all project information is appropriately documented, secured and retained Monitor the progress of the project and adjust and discuss as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the project Establish a communication plan and schedule to update stakeholders including appropriate staff in the organization on the progress of the project Review the plan, milestones, tasks, and deliverables with the project team on a regular basis to ensure that it meets the outlined scope and project standards Ensure that the project deliverables are on time, within budget and at the required level of quality Monitor project performance against scope, schedule, and cost baselines Evaluate the outcomes of the project as established during the planning phase Conduct post-implementation reviews of the project to incorporate lessons learned and best practices for future projects. About You: Experience is working with technology installations, internal development efforts, system integrations and data alignments Familiarity with product processes and procedures as well as how products correlate to technology offerings Understanding of banking, financial services and financial technology a plus Ability to facilitate between vendors and our corporate stakeholders Ability to easily communicate complex information between the business, Information Technology, and the bank’s technology and API partners Understanding potential 3rd party relationships and tie ins to systems, processes, and data Experience in fit gaps, requirements and specifications gathering Understanding of data governance, master data and data mapping Strengths in driving project teams and functional areas to decisions, timeline commitments and deliverables Strong knowledge and application of project management methodologies; familiarity with both waterfall and agile methodologies preferred Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships Skill in establishing and nurturing a network of SME’s and resources Exceptional conflict management, mediation, and negotiation skills Open to expanding knowledge and engaging in a variety of project efforts as needed Flexibility in adjusting direction on project efforts or outputs Comfortable working with multiple levels of an organization up to & including C Suite Ability to deal with competing priorities and exacting expectations Ability to work well under pressure across a diverse group of stakeholders. Strong verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and professional presence Ability to balance associated PM & PMO administrative tasks; status reports, dashboards, project plans, meeting minutes etc. Entrepreneurial spirit, hands-on mentality, integrity, and reliability 5-7+ years Project Management experience Experience working in a fast paced, lean environment Experience managing large, cross functional business projects PMP certification is preferred, but not necessarily required Salary Range: $90,000.00-$145,000.00 Cross River is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
