What we are looking for

We are hiring a Technical Writer that will be responsible for ensuring all technical information flows smoothly both internally and externally. The ideal candidate has financial and crypto writing and documentation experience as well as a passion for innovation. Technical writers make Cross River's products easy to use and integrate by creating useful content for developers and everyday users. Our documentation must exemplify quality and instill trust.

Your job will push Cross River and the industry forward by dreaming up and implementing new ways to deliver, author, analyze, and interact with technical content. Cross River cares deeply about developer experience, both for our users and engineering employees.

You will join an exciting, newly formed, crypto team that deeply cares about growing with people who question assumptions, have strong judgement, execute fast, take ownership, act responsibly, help the team advance and improve its standards.

  • Document new products, features, and APIs
  • Document standards, guidelines, and best practices for engineers
  • Organize documentation and make it easily discoverable
  • Maintain content quality through curation and content performance analysis

Minimum qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience writing technical documentation.
  • Fluent English speaker with exceptional written communication skills. 
  • Experience designing, developing, and publishing learning content online.
  • Well versed in technical topics, especially web standards, system architecture, APIs and open source libraries
  • Successfully wrote software documentation and tutorials


  • Able to quickly iterate and improve
  • Experience writing about backend languages like Ruby, Go, Python, PHP, Node, or Java
  • Experience creating automated documentation tools

Salary range

Annual salary: $75k-100k
